Chhatrapati Shahu Cancer Research Foundation , which is a
charitable trust with the main objective of Creating
awareness regarding tobacco abuse, reducing incidence of tobacco
consumption and creating awareness regarding cancer and tobacco.

Helped several poor
Cancer patients by giving financial aid for treatment.

Performed several
Cancer Surgeries free of cost as Honorary Cancer Surgeon at
C.P.R.Government Hospital. Continues to serve poor patients at
C.P.R.Govt. Hospital and performs Surgeries free of cost.

Held several Free
Cancer Detection Camps at Kolhapur Cancer Centre & at Lotus
Hospital & Research Centre, Kolhapur.

Organised a Lecture
series and delivered several lectures at various Public Forums for
Public awareness regarding tobacco & Cancer.

Contributed articles on
Cancer in the local newspapers intended for public awareness and
early detection of Cancer and prevention of tobacco abuse.

Organised by Chh.Shahu Cancer Research Foundation & Rotary Club of
Kolhapur Midtown.
Cancer day was celebrated by the survivors of cancer. Over 100
patients and their relatives attended the programme and celebrated
the day by sharing their experiences of undergoing cancer
treatment and coming out as survivor victors in the fight against
Cancer.
Roses were distributed to all present followed by tea & snacks.
